Trevlig att träffas
Hej! We are four mountain-loving outdoor freaks from Rotterdam, Holland. And if you know Holland you probably know that there are not a whole lot of mountains there. Combine that with our shared love for the (winter) seasons and moving to Sweden is really the only logical thing to do.
We believe that Sweden can give us the peace & quiet, space and wildlife experiences that made us follow our hearts and move here.
Our dream is to share our passion for nature and the great outdoors with you, tourists from all over Europe and perhaps even the world. We hope to offer you a great base camp from which you can enjoy many activities such as mountain biking, fishing, hiking, skiing, canoeing or whatever it is that floats your boat. As long as you feel at home when you get back to your camper, caravan, tent or cabin.
We are absolutely positive that all outdoor lovers will enjoy the surrounding forests, rivers, mountains, lakes and wildlife. Just add a little of our dedication, enthusiasm, service and drive and we’re sure you will have an experience that you will not likely forget.
We’re happy when you leave (happy).
Why people chose Hede Camping
Camp sites amidst some of the best wilderness of Sweden
Species you might encounter during your stay; moose, reindeer, beavers and maybe even a bear!
Minutes from Sonfjället National park, with Sweden’s largest bear population
Kinds of home baked pastries (served alternately) for the famous Swedish fika
Who will be helping you check-in or informing you about nice hikes in the area?
Eat, sleep, bake, repeat. Jenny was not allowed to participate in Master Chef and Heel Holland Bakt out of pity for the other contestants.
Is to lawn mowing and greens keeping what Bruce Lee was to kung fu. Also very good at burning stuff.
Queen of Fleece
Moved to Sweden out of love for snow. When summer comes she exchanges her ski's for hiking boots. Does not function when cute, furry animals are near.
Rutger van Dillen
Always up for a trip to the mountains. Fancies himself quite the outdoor hero (is in fact kind of a wuss).
